These steps are always ready for you to climb. However, you are not always ready to take the next step. That is OK. There is no reason to rush into anything you are not ready for. Yet we ask you to consider speeding up your readiness because the next step is glorious, and we want you to experience all that is waiting for you when you are ready.
How do you speed up your readiness? It is through your willingness to surrender what is familiar and embrace the unknown. This willingness does not require a mind at peace and arms outstretched. In fact, your mind can be quite restless, and your hands can be clenched in a defensive posture. This reaction is quite normal. We expect you to have some concerns when facing the unknown. Willingness is you saying yes regardless of this condition of unrest. When you are determined to take the next step, we are ready to take your hand and guide you. We tell you this so you are not hard on yourself when facing the unknown.
Practice saying yes to whatever presents itself to you – even when it appears as something you believe you do not want, and you didn’t ask for. Responding to everything with a determined yes IS your willingness to take the next step and experience its gifts. You do not always know what you need yet your willingness to receive what you need, will bring you what you want. Say yes to all emotions, events, surprises, and changes. Then sink into your heart and join with your angels and guides. Ask for comfort and help and relax. Notice how we are helping you take the next step. Express your gratitude, which helps you appreciate yourself and your willingness.
When you say yes in the present moment regardless of what is happening, you naturally look ahead toward possibilities. We are always guiding you forward. Yet when you say no and are looking behind you, you are not quite ready to move forward. Even that condition can be a catalyst for movement if you respond to your no with a yes. When you are bendable or flexible, we can get some forward momentum to carry you to the next step.
